Day 1 - You will be met on arrival at Kuala Lumpur airport and transferred to the centrally located Swiss Garden Hotel for a two night stay in Malaysia's impressive capital city. The Swiss Gardens is close to Chinatown and the main shopping area and overlooks the famous Petronas Twin Towers. Explore the city on foot or by public transport - you’ll find it easy to get around. If you have time, the bird aviary and butterfly house of Lake Gardens are just amazing.

Day 3 - This morning an air conditioned car will be delivered to your hotel for an easy drive north to the Cameron Highlands. Malaysia's roads are well signed and maintained and the scenery is stunning. The Lake House is an ideal base for exploring the Cameron Highlands region, famous for its forests and tea plantations. 

Day 4 - Continue your drive to the holiday island of Penang - there is a bridge onto the island - for three relaxing days at the Bayview Hotel beside Batu Ferringhi beach. With the independence of your own car you can explore the island at your own pace, including a trip to historic Georgetown and a visit to Penang Hill for some spectacular views.

Day 7 - Leave your car at Penang airport and fly to Sandakan on the Island of Borneo for our three day Borneo Wildlife Experience tour. Discover the amazing wildlife of the area including turtles, orang-utans and many more unique species. 

Day 9 - Say a fond farewell to Malaysia as you are transferred to Sandakan airport for your return overnight flight to the UK.
