Day 1  -  Arrive in the bustling city of Bangkok for a fun, four night stay in your own city centre apartment. The Cape House apartment hotel has its own swimming pool, children’s room, restaurant and convenience store, and is the perfect base for exploring Thailand’s capital city.

Favourite with many families is the longtail speedboat ride to Bangkok’s Floating Market, or visit the Golden Palace, once home to the Thai Royal Family. More thought provoking is a one day tour to the site of the famous Bridge Over the River Kwai, with a ride on the notorious death railway. In the evening all the family can test their haggling skills in Bangkok’s lively street markets.

Day 5  -  Leave the bright lights of Bangkok behind as you fly to the west coast holiday island of Phuket. Your accommodation here is at the family friendly Laguna Beach Resort, set in tropical gardens beside a pristine white sandy beach. The resort has a selection of restaurants, a water park, swimming pool, tennis courts, and a relaxing Day Spa for mum.

Spend your days exploring the beaches and bays of Phuket. There are plenty of Watersports available and a fantastic elephant safari through the island’s jungle interior. The nearby town of Patong has some great shopping, cafes and restaurants, and a lively nightlife for young and old. Day trips are available to the beautiful island of Phi Phi and the fascinating Phang Nga Marine Park, where you can snorkel in the warm clear waters of the Andaman Sea,

Day 14  -  Enjoy a last look at the sights before you transfer to Phuket’s island airport for you journey back to the UK.
