Our prices include: Unlimited kilometres, government tax, damage and third party insurance (excluding excess) and extra drivers.

Not included in the prices: Airport and ferry charges, fuel, hotel collection fee (MYR 53) and optional extras such as baby and booster seats.

Car types are subject to availability, Europcar reserves the right to substitute any model with a similar model if necessary.

Satellite Navigation: Europcar offers satelite navigation from MYR 20 per day from most locations. Sat Nav must be requested at the time of booking and paid for locally.

Terms and conditions

Driver Qualifications: drivers must be between 21 and 65 years and must have held a valid driving licence for at least one year. Drivers over 65 are permitted at an additional cost of MYR25 per day. Extra drivers are free of charge.

The rental: When taking delivery of you vehicle you will be asked to sign Europcar’s own terms and conditions of hire making the rental subject to a direct contract between each driver and the car hire company. A credit card bond will be taken to cover additional costs such as fuel, damage excess and optional services.

Restrictions:  It is not permitted to drive the vehicle into Brunei, Singapore or Thailand for insurance reasons. Minimum one way rental is 4 days. One way fees are payable in Borneo.

Damage & Theft Excess:  An excess fee of MYR 500 for Group D vehicles and MYR 1,000 for other vehicles types applies to all accidents or theft regardless of fault. In the event of an accident or theft you must make a police report within 24 hours of the incident.
