Day 1 - Bangkok
Tuk-tuks, neon lights and buzzing street life, its bustling Bangkok! Arrive at the hotel, meet your Trip Manager and fellow travellers, and then hit the city for a night out.

Day 2 - Bangkok to Kanchanaburi
First stop is the Royal Palace with its 60 acres of incredible buildings and gleaming golden temples, before hopping over to the iconic Wat Arun sitting beside the Chao Phraya River. Later explore the klongs (canals) by longtail boat where you can watch locals go about their daily lives.

Leave the bustle of Bangkok behind and make tracks for Kanchanburi where you will learn about darker times at the WWII Cemetery and the famous bridge over the River Kwai. Using local transport, take to the river and glide through jungle waterways to your home for the night, the floating Jungle Raft Hotel.     

Day 3 - Kanchanaburi to Ayutthaya
This morning there is time to relax or visit a local village for people-watching over a coffee. Afterwards, head to Erawan National Park with its lush forests, cascading waterfalls and hiking trails where you may spot some of the animal inhabitants. After your nature fix head to the ancient city of Ayutthaya where this evening you will dine in a local restaurant.

Day 4 - Ayutthaya to Chiang Mai 

Fuel up on breakfast this morning ready for your bike tour of Thailand's former ancient capital. Cycle past pretty villages, rice paddies and around the UNESCO historical park that contains numerous ruins that dot the landscape. Freshen up at the hotel before boarding the overnight train to Chiang Mai.

Day 5 - Chiang Mai

Pull into Thailand's northern capital where the rest of the day is free to enjoy the city at your own pace. You may like to take a massage and laze by the hotel's pool, roam the Old Quarter with its numerous and differently styled temples or perhaps visit an elephant nature sanctuary.  

Day 6 - Chiang Mai to Pai

Enjoy a scenic drive through lush rolling hills to the picturesque mountain town of Pai. The time is free to do as you please - maybe relax in the hot springs before exploring the little streets on foot or by bike. This afternoon why not pick up some Muay Thai boxing skills from an expert before experiencing Pai by night.

Day 7 - Pai to Chiang Mai

Head back to Chiang Mai for a further night where for the adventurous, there is an optional Zip lining experience. Later dabble in the art of Thai cooking, learning about all of the delicious flavours as you go.

Day 8 - 9 - Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang

Bid farewell to Thailand as you fly to neighbouring Laos, arriving late afternoon just in time for watching the sunset at a riverside bar. 

The next day early risers will be rewarded with the Tak Bat, a scared Buddhist ritual where the faithful offer alms (food) to the hundreds of monks that line the roads. Take a sightseeing bike tour around this stunning city before free time this afternoon. Popular optional activities include heading into the countryside for a refreshing swim at the Kuang Si Falls or visiting some of the ornate palaces and temples.

Day 10 - 11 - Vang Vieng
Take a scenic drive to Vang Vieng, known for its limestone karsts, outdoor adventure activities and buzzing nightlife. Spend the next two days at leisure - there's an array of limestone caves, swimming holes and tunnels to discover.

Day 12 - Vientiane
Arrive at the nation's cosmopolitan capital and take a city tour with a local guide. Visit the Pha That Luang Stupa and the Pataxai, Laos' answer to Paris' Arc de Triomphe. There will also be a visit to the COPE Centre, a local charity that helps those injured by landmines. 

Day 13 - Phnom Penh
Travel by plane into Cambodia's capital this morning, where you will learn about the Khmer Rouge and Cambodia's dark past when you visit the Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Later visit the Friends Restaurant where disadvantaged children have been trained to whip up tasty menus. 

Day 14 - 15 - Siem Reap
Catch a flight to Siem Reap for a two night stay. Watch dawns first rays of light on the iconic Angkor Wat - a truly magical experience! After a siesta around the pool back at the hotel, explore by Tuk Tuk Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm which was featured in the film Tomb Raider. Tonight venture down to Pub Street for a fun night out with your friends.

Day 16 - Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)
An afternoon flight brings you to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam's largest city where it's free time to explore or relax by the pool. This evening head to the thriving Ben Thanh markets where you can pick up anything from tasty food to iconic conical hats.

Day 17 - Mekong Delta
Embark on an overnight trip into the Mekong Delta. Try out sampans (local boats), take in the local industries and see the floating markets.

Day 18 - Mekong Delta to Ho Chi Minh City
Head back to Ho Chi Minh via the legendary tunnels in Cu Chi - if you're up for it, you can even go down into the tunnels and experience them first-hand.

Day 19 - Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang
Spend the morning exploring Ho Chi Minh, visit the War Remnants Museum and the Notre Dame Cathedral before you fly to the beach side resort of Nha Trang.

Day 20 - Nha Trang
Today is at your leisure, or you can opt to cruise the local waters for some swimming and snorkelling. Tonight get into Nha Trang's nightlife with some of the group - it's a pretty lively place!

Day 21 - 22 - Hoi An
Fly onward today to Da Nang and travel down to Hoi An. Take a guided walking tour through the Old Quarter to see the sights including Japanese Bridge and the atmospheric waterfront area. Later you can take an optional cooking class to brush up on your culinary skills. The next day enjoy some free time - perhaps visit the temples of My Son, ride a bike down to the beach or use the day to explore the town.

Day 23 - Hue
Enjoy stunning views while driving over the 'Pass of the Ocean Clouds', and then visit the famous sites in Hue; the imperial Tu Duc Mausoeum and the 7-story Thien Mu Pagoda.

Day 24 - Hanoi
Your morning begins with a flight to Hanoi, the nation's capital with its fusion of Vietnamese, French and Chinese influences. Weave through a maze of 36 trading streets filled with colourful goods for sale, before unwinding in the walled gardens of the Temple of Literature. 

Day 25 - Hanoi to Halong Bay
Enjoy the scenery as you head to Halong Bay to board a traditional Junk Boat for a spectacular overnight cruise. See amazing views as you pass coves, cliffs and beaches - stop for a swim before docking to see the sunset.

Day 26 - Halong Bay to Hanoi
Wake to more fantastic views from the Junk Boat before you return to Hanoi. Later enjoy a farewell night out with your group with no doubt a drink or two and some delicious Vietnamese food. 

Day 27 - Farewell
Say goodbye to your new friends as you return to the UK with all the fond memories that you will treasure for a lifetime.
