Day 1 - Saigon
On arrival in Saigon, transfer to your hotel. Get to know your tour leader and travelling companions during an evening tour briefing and welcome drinks. Get up close and personal with Saigon as you stroll along Dong Khoi Street, the former Rue Catinat, stopping at the Notre Dame Cathedral and War Remnants Museum. Learn about Vietnam's compelling military history at the Cu Chi tunnels.

Day 3 - Hoi An
Fly to Danang and transfer to the heritage town of Hoi An. Admire the unique architecture as you take a walking tour, visiting the old merchant house, Chinese assembly hall and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Enjoy a free day to explore the many clothing shops, colourful fish market and traditional river life. Alternatively, head to the nearby beach or just relax by the pool at your resort.

Day 5 - Hanoi &
Fly to Haiphong and relax on the scenic journey to magical Halong Bay where you will cruise among the thousands of limestone islands, staying overnight on a comfortable boat. The next day transfer back to Hanoi for a walking tour of the Old Quarter where peddlers ply their trade as they have done for centuries.

Day 7 - Hanoi
Visit the Ho Chi Minh quarter, starting with Ba Dinh Square, site of Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, before walking to the nearby Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda. Stop at the infamous Hanoi Hilton where US pilots were incarcerated during the war and then proceed to the ancient Temple of Literature which dates back to 1070. This evening enjoy a farewell dinner with your group at a local restaurant.
