Day 1 - Saigon
Arrive into Saigon and transfer to your hotel for two nights. The next day you will journey out of the city to visit the famous Cu Chi tunnel network with their hidden trap doors and living quarters. This afternoon take in some of the city highlights including the former Presidential Palace, Notre Dame cathedral and History Museum with the opportunity to observe a traditional water puppet performance. Finish the day with a stroll down Dong Khoi Street with its elegant shops and hotels.

Day 3 - Hoi An
Travel to Saigon airport for your flight to Danang where you will transferred to Hoi An for a  two night stay. Stop en route at the Cham Museum, China Beach which was a favourite rest stop for soldiers during the Vietnam War and the Marble Mountains where there will be time to explore the caves and temples.

On your second day you'll explore this charming town on a guided walking tour taking in the many heritage sights including the Chinese communal house, some of the fascinating pagodas and the Japanese covered bridge. Lunch will be at a local restaurant with the remainder of the afternoon free to explore further.

Day 5 - Hanoi
The morning is at leisure for last minute shopping or to perhaps visit the nearby beaches, before travelling to Danang airport for your flight to Hanoi and a two night stay.

Day 6 - Hanoi
This morning set off to see the city highlights including the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum complex where the former leader lies in state, followed by the colonial style former Governors' residence and the aptly named One Pillar Pagoda. After lunch see the restored Opera House, before taking to the streets on a walking tour around the Ancient Quarter where you will see the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake and stroll around the warren of bustling streets with their small shops  selling all manner of goods - a souvenir hunters delight!

Day 7 - Farewell
Enjoy some free time to perhaps revisit some favourites, before travelling to the airport for your onward flight.
